This ballistic shield is rated up to Level 3a. Ballistic shields like this are designed for entry teams and CQB training. They provide cover in places where adequate cover is not available. This sheild is designed to fold in half allowing it to be more conveniently stored when not in use. We put 10+ 9mm 124 grain rounds into this shield and it stopped all the projectiles with minimal backface deformation.
